I recently bought a new home and a do it yourselfer did not put the floor down well. There are multiple boards with nails. He also put it down over the old hardwood floor and now there is a ledge at every transition. I want to pull up the floor, take up the old floor and then put the floor back down. Can this be done? It is 2", 3", 4" boards.
