Fantastic board -- I've learned alot reading all the other posts.

I'm looking at floating a value-priced quality clic-lock product on dry concrete slab. Everything I've read and heard about kahrs is positive and my samples confirm but I prefer the matte finish of the Barlinek to the semi-gloss of the Builder's Collection. The Barlinek seems to be well-made and similar to the Kahrs (maybe the locking isn't quite as tight and precise). Haven't read anyone comment on Barlinek. Any experience with it?

I know nothing about Barlinek, but my experience with Kahrs has all been positive.

Kahrs has products with matt finish,,,, Unless memory is failing me..
Maybe ask the retailer again for additional samples.

I would stick with Kahrs over the unknown.
