The floor nailer left marks on pre finished maple hardware floor, what would have caused this to occur? :cry:

In regards to marks, they are circular marks throughtout the entire floor, seems to be an inprint of the bottom of the gun. but not dents, can this be to much pressure?

marks as in scratches?

Did you use a prefinished nailer shoe on the gun?
Did you tape it?
Did you not use the shoe, and just use tape?
If so what kind?
Are they dents?

Lots or reasons why it will leave marks.
