I've pretty much decided to put down a floating BR111 Triangulo Engineered Wood Floor over a slab. I'm planning to use the 2 in one pad.

There's paint on the from when the house was built and the walls were spayed. If I have to prime or seal should this be removed?

How do I float around a electrical floor socket so that the floor stays down? Is there a special flange available? Pictures would be helpful.

Thanks for any help.

Remove thecover plate And raise the socket, after marking the subfloor where it was so you know where to cut and have the cover plate still cover and no gaps.

Replace after installation and dry fit it during installation to be sure. You most likely will need longer screws and maybe a tube spacer( I make out of motorcycle stainless brake line)
