I recently refinished my hardwood floors with water based polyurethane. The floors has not been touched or walked on but I see some areas rippling. I attached an image to show you guys. Why is this happening? And can I just fix these spots or I would have to do the whole floor over again? The floor was sanded and then 2 coats of polyurethane was applied. Why is this happening in random spots of the floor?

so which was it? waterbase finish or polyurethane?..that link gets errors..

you start off saying refinished with waterbase then say it was sanded with 2 coat poly applied...

clarify so ti can be potentially answered.

James, I think most consumers consider all forms of finish to be urethanes. Hence the confusion .Either way, we can't see your images and rippling usually means that the first coat didn't dry thoroughly before you applied the second coat. Hard to say without seeing the problem though
