 Post subject: Plywood vs. OSB subfloor

The Hardwood Installers website says the radiant in-floor heating companies do not recommend the use of OSB. Why is this? I understand the properties are rather similar and the r-factor for OSB is actually less which should be a recommendation for it's use?

Which type of radiant are you speaking about? Electrical? Hot water in tubes above the subfloor? Below the subfloor? Enclosed in gypcrete?
