I am about to start my second wood floor installation over concrete. My first was about 4 years ago, and it went very well. This time I am about to install 5/16x2/14 bellawood cherry over concrete. I have sanded, floated and thouroghly cleaned. I know that going over concrete you have to do your homework. So please let me know what else I can do to prevent any long term issues. I am using Bostiks MVP, then Bostiks adhesive and will be able to leave over an inch along the walls. What else can I do???

My next job is very similar to yours. I suggest you check and document the slab for moisture content before the MVP goes down. You don't want to jeopardize any warranty issues. If it were me I would check out Mapei's Planiseal WFM sealer and their 980 or 990 adhesive.
