Please help with the layout of my hardwood for my living room.

I would like to picture frame the tiles in front of the fireplace.

The joists run perpendicular to the front door and kitchen entry. You will see arrow direction on included picture.


Please advise on where I should start my first row of 3/4 x 3. Couldn't decide whether to start on exterior wall that front door is on or against the stairwell to the basement.
