That's what I figured. After posting the question, I realized that it as a really dumb question. I'm thinking I'll keep the lengths in 4,8,12 foot measues, then adapt to whatever I need to fit. I'm going to try racking the floor to see what I have. One, minor complication, is that one of the walls is shaped like a "V" . In the center of the "V" is a fireplace, and next to that (a couple of feet away) is a slideing door. The space I'm working with is shaped somewhat like a "T" starting in a hallway leading to an open kitchen, dining/living area. The "V" is at the top of the "T". It'll be a challenge of a first-timer.
