I'm a newby DIYer.

Looking at all flooring options. Plank flooring w/ face nailing seems like a good fit for my particular room and budget. Think it will look rustic and cool. Worried about moisture messing with the wood, any advice as far as moisture barriers? Seems like with humidity in my house (wood doors sticking in summer but not in winter).Am I crazy to be trying this myself (already leveled the subfloor, which is plywood, house is raised 3ft) and am I crazy to not just buy more fancy flooring and hiring someone to install said flooring?
