We are starting the process of building a cabin in NC and plan on using Pine flooring in most areas. I am at least investigating the different flooring options. The local installers are quite expensive given the local and I have done hardwood installs before....so....what are the best options for a DIY? Wood subfloor.

Prefinished is a must. What are the better brands for Pine (I have not looked at Pine much in the past...and the brands seem to be different).

Suggestions and advice?

Thanks-
Jim

Harris-Tarkett has a few in their Grand Vistas II line. It's a floating floor--Longstrip line.
