I have a question about Pergo :( (I am installing it for a friend who is trying to do some cheap renovations to sell his townhouse!)
The spacers they give you with the installation kit (to put against the starting long wall) don't seem to work to well, it seems like they will slide underneath the baseboard when you are pushing the boards together through out the installation. Do any of you guys have any tricks for keeping the spacers in place through out the installation, or a different type of spacer to use that will not move. I know most of you pro's out there don't probably do too much pergo, but any help or tricks would be a great help.

Thanks,

Matt Fisher

Why not just use smaller pieces of the laminate flooring as spacers?

Floor Guy,
We must think alike...thats what I ended up doing and it worked out just fine!
Got the floor 90% done today, just have to go back tomorrow finish up, and put in the shoe and I am done.
Thanks for the reply,

Matt Fisher
