I apologize if this is a repeat question, I am new to this forum. I posted a similar thread the other day but didn't get any responses. I have 2"x6" t&g subfloor over 4' oc joists with 3/8" flakeboard as an underlayment. I would like to install 1/2" engineered Hardwood flooring over the top of it. Is that ok? Is there anything special I need to do? i plan on nailing or stapling it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
