Not too long ago companies were pushing orange oil as the best way to take care of wood furniture and hardwood. Is this true? Is this still the case? If so what are some of the best brands to use and are easy to find?

I do not agree. Most furniture experts often recommended waxing antique furniture. Modern furniture with modern finishes can be cleaned with Endust or Windex furniture cleaner. As far as floors go, it depends on the finish. If the finish is a urethane type, then a wood floor cleaner like BONA is recommended. If it is wax, then a strip and wax is recommended.

I already ordered the proprietary hardwood floor company from Vintage. Comes with their own blend and I think a micro-fiber mop. On the way. Was just curious about orange oil anyway. The product I was thinking of is "Orange-Glo". Which is being pushed on TV by that LOUD "willy hays" character. :)

Guess I'll just keep buying bottles from the manufacturer of the hardwood I had installed. Vintage.

Use the cleaner from Vintage. It is similar in properties to the Bona that Gary recommends, and probably easier for you to acquire.
Orange Glo? Not on your floors you dont. I used it on a laquered pine cabinet and earned myself a winter project getting that sticky substance off again.
I dont know if I used it improperly or it just wasnt a suitable product for what I was doing; all I know for sure is, i will never do it again, I promise, lol.
