If you've been to one you've been to them all is the way I look at it, but I look forward to the actual demonstrations that many really don't take advantage of. Attendance overall was pretty bad in my opinion, but what does one expect with the housing market and new construction being so dreadful.

Tried uploading one pic to start. It says I'm not authorized to view the picture..LOL. The administrator? I never saw this neat little trick used to scribe radiuses. In the past I would use a fat carpenters pencil and drag it along the wall or radius being scribed to.

I have used washers for several years now, after learning about doing it that way, on one of the message boards(I think it was FCI) It is a sweet way to be very accurate.

It works sweet. I have a ziploc bag with all different size of washers. The best I have and use the most, is one I made from a quarter, that I drilled a small hole in the middle, just big enough for a pencil. The big holes in some washers can screw with you.

Yeah, I think they're called fender washers.

Ken, was browsing your report on NWFA and saw the blurb on Harris-Tarkett. Live in TN near their plant and am very familiar with the issues they've had over the last few years. Thru some acquaintences, I can give you a little better description of the transition. The company has not just been renamed. They were actually purchased back from Tarkett. The problems they had were greatly related to the international ownership of Tarkett. Everything was taken off site....customer service, technical service, marketing....all they really did at the TN location was produce the floor, all decisions were made elsewhere. The new company is wholly domestic. Everything has been or soon will be brought back in house. I for one definitely hope they get back on track, because I used to sell a ton of their stuff!

Thanks. Like I said I didn't take very good notes.
