Hi,

Putting 1*4 cedar T&G on the ceiling over gyproc and joists. The room is not completely square off by 3/4 ".

Couple of ????

1. Could I start the first course flush with the wall? It is likely that I will have a wedge for the last course if I want that flush as well. Should I try to Make that up as I go along?
2. I plan to use 2" 16 GA nails with a finish gun what is the closest that I can go to end without splitting? Should I drill those?
