 Post subject: Newbie - 3/4" x 4" Red Oak - Glue and staple

Hello. I recently purchased this 4" hardwood and the manuafacturer states it would be better to staple and glue planks that are 4" and wider.

Is this really necessary? Thanks for any direction here.

Wide floors move a lot. Follow the manufacture's instructions.
