Greetings all,
what is the process for sanding and finishing new unfinished hardwood floors?

Everything I research is for refinishing previously finished floors.

I have easy access to a drum sander and an edge sander from a rental store. They do not however seem to have an orbital sander but I could travel 50 mins away to a home depot that would have one.

What are the steps, machines and grits to sand and pre new unfinished hardwood?

The flooring is rift and quarter sawn 4" white oak. Im not sure what stain Im going to use just yet but will likely use Bona HD Traffic as my top coat.
