Ok so we are going to need a place to go if FM never comes back. And if the domain has elapsed and it comes back under a new name then what's the difference between there and here? If all the contributors from FM come here this place would be way better anyway. Don't worry Custom, unbunch your panties sweety I'm not even going to suggest that other place (as I've said before the forum format of that place sucks). So who's with me? We're going to need somewhere to go. All you FM "loyalists" who are clicking refresh over and over again every day only to be greeted by a big fat "Not Found" need to give it up and realize that the URL at the top of your screen wasn't what made FM so great, it was US. (well not me so much... ;) LOL) So c'mon! Let's start posting and continue the conversations. (Maybe we can get an OT section here which could be off limits to the FlooringCensorshipCommittee's iron fist... LOL)

I had no idea what happened to floormaster's and why it was dropped. Oh well. I didn't come here as often but I do like the format. So here I are?

Welcome aboard guys. I'm here now and then. We have definitely lacked expertise in finishing procedures, or at least a broader spectrum of participants that can offer advice on the many different procedures and products out there. You're very welcome to beef up the board, but lemme get it straight the first time.

No BS. Quite frankly I don't think we've ever banned anyone here that couldn't behave. Oh, one 5-6 years ago but...he was a real piece of work. The forum has run smoothly for years. I think that has much to do with the tone and comroddirary(spell check can't even fix that word?).

Again, welcome...but keep it pleasant. We're all adults :)

Many people have been contacting me (Facebook etc) and I have been telling them that there is a group of us kind of congregating here.

Interestingly the flooringinstaller.com site seems to be a good format.

It's kind of like having 2 gas stations in a small town...one can make it two will go broke.

Agreed, looks like that's the only place wood flooring guys can be wood flooring guys. I'll gladly take my BS there. ;)
