I am installing 1350sqft of 5/16in prefinished hardwood floor. I have been reading as much as possible I think I will use the bostitch floor stapler but not sure if this will be too much for this size floor. I dont want to damage it if it is to powerful. What type of staples should i use (crown or regular ) Also did not see a shoe(spacer) for this size floor . The house is off of the ground and have 3/4 plywood plus 1x4's under the plywood. Any suggestions would be appriciated. The home is located in south Louisiana.

I suggest the Senco SLS-20HF, or the Bostich Floor Runner, or the HighPro AS 4090

Yes, the Bostitch M111-FS is the WRONG machine for your 5/16" T&G floor. The Bostitch Floor Runner was made for that flooring. And the Senco and HiPro work just as well, if not better.
