You do realize the first floating floors to come to the USA were all glue together t&g. Kahrs...

They said nothing about transitions in doorways, either direction. They were more concerned with running length and expansion, for the need for a transition.

Very true....Although it is important, and our responsibility,to be educated and up to date, on the latest materials, technologies, and installation specs/requirements. The industry has come a long way since...

I stay up to date pretty well.

I also remember what we did when there was never the failures we see today.
