I rarely install pre finished so I can use your help in narrowing down the choices . My Uncle has a commercial space to straighten out which will be a massage therapy office/ offices.
The flooring is mostly oak and isn't suitable to be sanded and re finished and code wont allow for them to use carpet so we need to either float over the existing floor or staple to it .
Here's the kicker though. The flooring in this building is all over the place with some very uneven transitions so I haven't made up my mind if floating will be better than staple down
Lastly, we're thinking a 3/8" floor will be the way to go in this building to keep overall height down .But I'm all ears on what you think .Thanks
