Hi,
I need some help choosing glue. I'm having Mullican engineered flooring put in my whole house soon. The contractor suggested using Dri Tac 6200. My concern is that I have parrots, who are very sensitive to chemicals. Is this a safe glue to use? Is there a safer alternative that works as well?

Thanks!
Lee

As an owner of 3 African Grey parrots. I would try to find a place for them to live during the work and for at least a couple of days after. Just to be on the safe side knowing how sensitive they are. If you weren't doing the whole house you could contain then in one room and seal it off from the fumes.

Don't know about parrots but anything Isocyanate free would probably be best. Chemrex CX-1000 or Stauf SMP-960 comes to mind.
