I'm planing on installing 3/8 engineered hardwoodfloor glued down to concreate slab, I've talk to homedepot, lowes, lumber liqidatoes and floor deco collecting info on how to do the job but none have said anything about rolling the floor.

However I have read online that I should roll the floor before the glue sets with a 150 pound roller, so do I need to roll or can I avoid that as obviously I don't have a roller!

What does the manufactures installation guide lines say ? I roll my floors with a 100 lb roller , tape it every 3 ' with blue painters tape to keep it tight .. I assume you don't have straps .. and set some of the boxes of product on it as you are installing ..

I have not bought the floor yet but I'm thinking of getting 3/8 engineered hardwood Brazillian mesquite by Schon from Lumber Liquidators

Good point you made, I will check, and good tips

Rolling always USED to be required. With SOME of the newer adhesives, it may not be needed. Double check with the installation guidelines and follow them to the letter.
