My wife and I are currently looking to buy a new house, and happened to stumble accross a open house that had the most amazing hardwood i have seen. The problem is I can't remember the name of it. It does not have your typical hardwood look to it. Hopefully someone can help me out, there are a few things i remember about it (what i was told also).
- Wax based finish. Appearantly if you had a nick in the floor all you needed to do was sand the area and re-apply the wax. - Wood was in about 2-3" wide strips. - Lightish/greyish brown was the wood color, and it almost looked like grout (how tiles look)was in between the connected wood strips (wasn't flush as we have with our maple hard wood flooring). -appearantly it isnt a common finish.
Hopefully i have explained enough of it someone can help me, as i can't find anything on the Internet.
