I'm looking to put on some hardwood floors in the kitchen and dining area and need some help in choosing from the following. Can you please advise or give me some feedback. Any pros/cons, natural vs. stain issues, looks etc. Anything that you can think of..
I'm interested in the following, I really like Acacia and I'm leaning more towards the natural or even darker look of Acacia but I also like the Oak and Santos Mahogany. Also, the floors are distressed, except for the Santos Mahogany which is super smooth. The sales guy told me that distressed is always good to have in the kitchen and dining area and will wear well with time, also easy to touch up and it tends to hide a lot of the imperfections, damages, scratches etc. in the long run.. It does make sense but please let me know what you (i.e. the professionals/expert) think of my choices:
