I am installing 3/4" x 2 1/4" Bruce Butterscotch, using a 135 max psi compressor regulated to 95psi, using 2" nails and a rental gun from HD. The nails do not sink flush, they stick out around 3/16", I took back the gun to HD, and got a different one, same results, tried a different compressor, same results. The subfloor is plywood same as the dining room which I did with same everything 6 months ago with no problems. Any help would be appreciated.

Home Depots guns are wore out and in need of a little maintainence.

That's what I thought, so I took it back and had them test it there with the wood I was using and everyone was perfect, with their compressor, could both of the compressors I was using on site be faulty?

What size hose were you using?

The hose is 3/8.
