I have installed wood floors for 20 years and over the last year I have had several floors
squeak or pop on the edges. I have always used a air finish gun and or finish nails to attach the rows that cannot be nailed with the flooring nailer. Does anyone glue and nail these rows
and what nails do you use. I do think OSB is getting weaker so I am looking for a new method.

what type of glue do you use? i was always told not to glue solid wood because it may result in gaps etc. another concern if there is a crawlspace would be that the moisture barrier would not be under the last few rows. thanks for the reply
