I am a newbie with a installation question...hope you guys can assist. I have a situation where I am reversing direction (using a spline) to a wall the distance to the wall is 3'. What method (facenail??) do I use on the last few rows as I approach the wall. My nailer will only allow me to get so close to the wall. Thanks for any help!!

You will need to either face nail those last few boards or glue them. You also can combination glue and nail thereby not having to use as many nails in the face. When face nailing, I try to place the nail in a darker part of the grain as it will hide better and fill easier.

Thanks for your fast response. What spacing would be acceptable if I glue and nail?
