What are people thoughts on nailing down a floating floor after the fact? I have a 16x20 room installed with floating engineered hardwood glued together. There are a few spots that you can see move when ppl walk on it. I find it to be annoying and also worry the T&G will fail. I understand the best way to do it is to have a perfectly level floor and re-install. I guess I am not asking the best way more just the thoughts on this solution after the fact. I was considering using a pin or small guage nailer to do a combination of nailing through the T&G at the joint and also some face nailing and glue injection to make the whole piece secure. Thoughts?
