I am going to put down bamboo flooring. Will the Bostitch MarkIIIFN do the job. I know that nailer was made for 3/4" flooring. Will this matter? Can you adjust the plate to accomodate the 1/8th inch differentce?

I am referring to the nailer and not the stapler. Is your answer still yes?

Hi, I did a commercial project with bamboo with a bostitch stapler and everywhere I put a staple in there was a bump that could be seen in the sun light.

There was minor complaints but not to bad but as a perfectionist I was displeased with the results.
I wonder if cleats would have been better.

Has anyone had personal success with the Bostitch floor nailer on 5/8" bamboo. I don't want to drop $400 on a gun if it is not going to do the job.
