I am installing a 1/2" engineered Anderson Northern Maple Plank 5" floor. We are putting it over 3/4" OSB with a 1/4" luan on top of it. We have been told that we need at least 1 1/4" nails. What gauge is recommended for this install? What about nails vs. staples?
