In one of the articles on this site..a reference was made to a product that coats or seals the nails of dogs..thus preventing some of the scratching issues. Anyone know where to find this product or what is used?

No but if you find one let me know. My dogs nails are like bear claws.

I read about a product called soft paws. I think they are glued on.

The product is called soft paws and PetCo does the application. It costs approx $30.00 and lasts a month. Looks like I will just be clipping his nails for now!

I have also heard of nail grinding that is out there. It claims to last a month and was only $15. From what I understand, they cut them and then grind them in a manner that keeps them off the floor and make them grow in a way that makes it last. I don't know the science behind it, but I'm thinking about trying it.

I take my dogs once a month for nail grinding, cant beat it. First I tried to grind their nails with a dremel, that was a circus Than I bought one of those pro nail grinders, still a circus.

My dogs don't like having anyone touch their feets err paws. I have to have them tranquialized for that. Got a script for those dog tranquilizers.

I taught my dog how to build a "dog house" so he could tear up his own home.
