I am installing bamboo on a concrete slab. I have a couple of questions.

1. Should I lay plywood down and nail it or float it. My understanding is that with the nail down I won't need the pad like I will if I float it so it isn't that much more expensive to nail it, I just want to know if it will make a difference to nail it or float it.

2. Do I have the same tolerances with respect to flatness if I nail it down as opposed to floating it?

Thanks!
