Hello,

After a lot of back and forth we are tending towards this hardwood from a local retailer. I have heard some people say that Hickory is not a very stable specie of wood. The local retailer I am looking to purchase this from dismissed that sentiment and said, in practice it is as stable as the other commonly used woods. Also, there have been questions, also on this forum, about the quality of Mullican. Should I be concerned with this brand?
Any insights would be greatly appreciated,
