Hey ya'll, we're installing a Shaw floating engineered hickory 4.5" plank floor, it is going to meet a vinyl flooring that is 1/4" lower than the 5/8" height of the plank on cork tile underlayment. Shaw says to leave a 1 1/4" space for placement of T moulding and I know I read somewhere that when the T moulding has to make such a transition in height you place it about 1/4" closer to the lower level flooring, but for the life of me I can't find that info again! Is that correct or am I having a senior moment?
TIA
