Hope I can make this clear!!! I am installing a floating floor ( wood ), ajoining a glued down floor. Planks running in the same direction. Using a T molding to bridge the gap. I intend to but the T molding leg against the glue down floor, leaving 1/2 inch expansion space between the leg of the T and the floating floor. Am planning to use PL glue to affix the T to the sub floor and the glue down. Am I correct in my intentions???? Thanks....

Perfectly correct....just be sure that you don't inadvertently get overrun of the adhesive to the floating floor.

Yup, exactly what you should be doing. And as BW says, NO contact between the glue and the float floor.
