I just recently had wood floors installed in my house. I have Shaw Epic 3/8” Engineered glue down flooring in the Gunstock color. I have run into a little problem. The T-molding that the local flooring store sold me was the wrong color. When I looked at it before they installed it, I noticed it was not close to the color of my flooring. I saw a sticker on the back of the T-molding and it was red-oak color. I called the flooring store and they told me Shaw does not make a Gunstock color T-molding. I find this hard to believe that Shaw does not make a molding to match the flooring they sell. Has anyone else ever run into this problem with Shaw? I have a call into the Shaw Flooring office to ask them this same question.

One other question I have for the pro’s out there is. Is there a good way to make the T-molding out of some extra pieces of flooring I have left over? I know I can use a table saw to cut the “T” out on the bottom. Just looking for some good ideas on how to round out the top of the board to make it look like a store bought T-molding.
