I am working my way though my house installing engineered hardwood and have made it to a room that I cannot get t-molding long enough for the open archway between the tile and the new wood. I am using glue down t-molding and am curious if there is anything special I need to do to join them or if I can just glue them next to each other with some glue between them and be good.

Nice tight square butt joint will work. Get a good grain and color match at the joint to make it less noticeable.
