Hi,

I'm putting new flooring in a bedroom which adjoins a bathroom.
There's no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and it gets very steamy from showers. In the winter I won't be opening the window.

Will the moisture cause any problems with a hardwood floor? If so, what kind?

I'm thinking of getting prefinished engineered.

Thanks in advance.

Not with a well acclimated engineered. It is 50% more stable where moisture is concerned, then its solid counterpart.
