The industry standard is still the CC test. You MUST follow the instructions to the letter.

Your best bet maybe to hire someone to perform either of these moisture tests. IF you go with a floating floor, you could forgo testing altogether. WHY? Because you would cover the entire slab and drap up the walls a few inches with 6 mil polyethylene. Once covered properly, no moisture vapor from concrete will penetrate this barrier. Over that, a quality foam pad/underlayment is placed ( The Floor Muffler is a good one ). Then the wood flooring is installed/floated over that. This is a simple yet effective system for concrete slab subfloors and is good for DIYers because of it's simplicity and there is no need for many specialty tools or expensive adhesives.
