Builder used final coat of H20 Oil coat 2 days before move in. We closed on new home a year ago, and soon after noticed marks on our floor. The floors also appear to scratch easily. We have had hardwood before and never had these types of issues. Marks look like someone took a pencil eraser to smudge our floors, primarily in traffic areas. I can't recreate any of the marks so not sure what is happening. The builder rep said they look like "drag" marks. Can anyone tell me if this is acceptable and either way how to fix it? Thats definitely a drag mark as the line crosses over the planks in a line.
