Hello All,

I am new member of this forum and need some advise. I recently bought a townhome in VA and looking for decent hardwood floors. My kitchen cabinets are CAFE color (Choclate color).

Here is the link: (third cabinet CAFE in first row)

I have seen Maple Cinnamon in my community model home and looks nice. I am not sure how brazilian cherry goes with it.

I dont want direct match. all i need is better combination and should look awesome.

Entire world is after Brazilian cherry and I am totally confused. Appreciate your help.

I got a deal on Brazilian Cherry Solid 3/4" * 3" by BR111 for $7.50 installed. Is it good one?
Maple Cinnamon is for 3/4"*3" for $6.99 by bruce installed per SFT.

Thanks
AK

AK,

There are so many color variances that it's hard to say how a floor is going to turn out and look in person.

Brazilian Cherry is photosensative and will darken over time and most of them are brownish-red in color. I don't think either one will be bad.

If you've seen the Maple and think it looks good, then I always lean toward something I've seen in person.

AK,

Is it possible for your cabinet company to provide you with a small sample of the wood they used? My cabinet guy did that and were able to take the sample with us and put it next to the wood we were considering to see how it looked.
