While browsing through some older posts, I saw this comment from Stephen Perrera in a topic from last year:

Quote:
Engineered should never ever delaminate. If it is made to U.S. standards, ANSI/HPVA EF 2009 . Anderson, WD, Owens and many other U.S. manufacturers state they manufacturer engineered to this standard now.

Is there a more complete list of manufacturers that follow this standard available out there anywhere? I didn't see anything on the HPVA site. Or, is there a logo that each manufacturer would display on their website?

Thanks

Not sure of the HPVA logo but I have seen it in writing on websites and the boxes/literature of certain manufacturers. I believe Shaw has also jumped in. I wish there were a comprehensive list. Maybe Ken should make one since he is usually just sitting at the beach in Florida half the year.

Maybe some day SP. Unfortunately, I've lost my desire considering Google considers hardwoodinstaller.com "non worthy" these days with their Panda updates. It's not just me either. In the hardwood flooring website category a few more that have been punished are:

woodfloorsonline.com
woodfloordoctor.com

The list goes on elsewhere

floorfacts.com
hometips.com
askthebuilder.com - hammered, absolutely hammered

even thefloorpro.com got hit.

For some reason hardwoodflooringtalk.com hasn't been affected.

Ken, incidently I just got a new customer who was reading hardwoodinstaller.com. So, it is not all gone, actually I google hardwood stuff all the time to see where my website is and your coming back up.
