Hello again!

My flooring has acclimated and it is time to do the installation!

I am installing 5.5" wide BR-111 3/4" thick hardwood flooring in our foyer. The foyer will take only 72 square feet of hardwood flooring to cover (roughly 10' x 7').

I can get my hand on a manual nailer rather easy OR I can rent a pneumatic nailer from a tool rental center. Since I am doing such a small area, would it really matter which nailer I used? Speed is the only advantage I can see at this time and that is NOT important to me.

Any other advantages?

a manual should be fine if you can swing a hammer with a bit of accuracy. The pnumatic would be easier still if it were 10 sf imo.

More like swing it and hit the plunger hard and accurately. Brazilian cherry is a very hard, hardwood to manually nail.
