I have a client who purchased his own engineered bamboo flooring. I recommended Sika t-54. The distributor, not the manufacturer, recomended mannington easy-spread adhesive even though it is not a mannington flooring. Has anyone used Mannington easy-spread adhesive before and thoughts on this product?

I have not used the Mannington but we all know that Sika is an outstanding product. I've had excellent results with it.Maybe try and steer them towards the Sika if possible. It's a proven ,quality product.

I would not use any mannington adhesive unless I was adhering a mannington product. What does the manufacturer reccommend?

I would say by my opinion, the best glue for the money out there is Tight Bond 880 something I beleive. It's a moisture barrier and glue at same time. Get it for about 90/pale. It sticks like crazy, hardly ever have any hollow spots, doesn't harden up completely even after years later. Plus it doesn't slide around like Sika does. I used to use that thinking it was the best, and it's not. Tight bond all the way. If not that then Bostik's EFA, it used to be TKO.
