As I was about to pull the trigger on a bunch of BR111, I just had someone offer me a decent price on some Mannington engineered Brazilian Cherry. The thing I'm not sure of is that there are two options. I can either go with their 5" wide Caspian LOCnGo which is a new spring-based lock system, or their existing 3" Andino Cherry which is a glue together tongue and groove system. I plan to float this install as a DIY. The locking sounds too good to be true...obviously fast/easy. However, is this a bad idea for a floating installation? Anyone have experience with this or other locking systems? Are gaps visible between the planks?

That flooring is not sold here so we cannot offer assistance on it. Please read terms of use. BTW, many floating floors have gone to a locking/glueless system. So far, the results have been very good, for the most part.
