I am laying some mahogany T&G flooring under a covered porch. Any suggestions on the best way to finish this flooring? The porch is completely covered, but it will likely see some rain and snow and it will be in nearly direct sunlight at least for part of the day. I am in New Jersey.

Thanks in advance.

This should be a learning experience for you along with a waste of money.

I would seal the backside of the flooring prior to installing. I'd use an exterior penetrating sealer for decks. Many out there and they all say they are great. I hear Sikkens brand is good. Plan on some cupping and gapping. A better wood choice is TRUE teak as it is used for boat decks and hadles the exterior climate changes better. Make sure your porch/deck slopes away from your house/door.
