Hello,

its my first post over here :)

I'm a graphic designer and one hardwood floor making company subcontracted me to do layout for their top range oak wood type floors - they have planks 20, 25, 30, 35 and 39.5cm wide and length from 2 to 5 meters (2, 2.25, 2.5, 2.75, 3 ... etc). So I do it with Corel software by hand... every plank... as some rules must be observed - like min 50cm between plank cuts in two alongside rows, different widths must be used and so on..
my job is to do layout plans like this:

This one is small and easy one.. but sometimes I have to layout hundreds of square meters and I wonder if any specialised software is available for this job. I think this way: I enter floor plan, available plank sizes and press the magic button  or is it to optimistic

floor looks like this in real:

PS. sorry for my poor english, still learning, I'm from eastern Europe :)
