Hi All-

I plan to install Bruce Frisco 2.25-in Country Natural Hickory Solid Hardwood Flooring from Lowes ( https://www.lowes.com/pd/Bruce-Frisco-2 ... 1000040107).

For warranty sake I thought I would (as recommended by the warranty) apply the Armstong's S-135 VapArrest and use the Bruce Equalizer Urethane Adhesive. I can not find the VapArrest anywhere, product unavailable from what I see. I can't find the Bruce Equalizer adhesive either. I contacted Armstrong Flooring and here is their reply: "Thank you for contacting Armstrong Flooring, Inc. Robert you should be able to order these products where you purchased your floor?? The VapArrest (S-135) and the Bruce Equalizer Urethane Adhesive." Lowes does not carry either product nor Home Depot.

Google search only found me "Armstrong" Equalizer Urethane Adhesive (Not Bruce) at E Floors for $130.00

Bruce's website does not have information nor Armstrong's about where these or any compatible products can be bought to be acceptable for warranty issue.

My subfloor: I have 500 sq.ft. of porch, 2x12" joist 16" OC all sealed with Superdeck sealer. 1/2" CDX (bottoms sealed) atop joists; then 2" Dow Styrofoam Scoreboard Insulation ("Blue Board" closed cell, compression resistant foam). Top layer is 3/4" T&G Advantech OSB. All layers glued and screwed to joists. Could I just go with 15# roofers felt over 6 mil poly under my glued (Armstrong Equalizer Urethane Adhesive?) and stapled 3/4 Hickory?
